After moving to the US, I realized that credit dictates pretty much everything here. It took me 2 years to understand how credit really works and helps me build excellent credit from having no credit at all. I wish services like Creditsage existed when I needed to build my credit from 0. I started Creditsage to help low and mid-income people who don’t have the knowledge getting passed from their parents at an early age.
Tip 1: Start as early as possible, don’t push building or fixing your credit for later because time will catch up and when you really need a loan for a car or for a house you will get bad rates and bad deals in general.
Tip 2: control your spending and reduce your utilization. Sit with your finances and break things down in needs and wants. Needs are like groceries and want is the newest iPhone. If you have already used up your credit cards and your utilization is high then Creditsage can help with that. We add extra credit on your name hence dropping your utilization. Tip 3: Try and use only your credit card and not your debit card at the same time. The main reason people rack up massive credit debt is because they think credit is the money they have to spend as well along with the money they have in their debit card!
